Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Rumored to Feature Slimmer Bezel & Larger Display
Thinner Bezels and Larger Display for Upcoming Smartwatch
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is rumored to featre a slimmer bezel and a larger display than its predecessors, moving closer to the design of the Apple Watch. Noted leaker Ice Universe has suggested that the next Samsung smartwatch will have a substantially different design compared to the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
100% confirmed, Exclusive: The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 has increased the screen size of the dial to 1.47 inches, and the resolution has also been correspondingly improved, which means that the screen proportion has finally been improved.

Samsung’s Display Upgrade Aligns with Apple Watch Design
According to the leak, Samsung plans to increase the display size from 1.4 inches (on the 44mm Galaxy Watch 5) to 1.47 inches for the Galaxy Watch 6 series. This change would likely have an even more dramatic visual impact on the smaller, expected 40mm version of the Galaxy Watch 6. The larger display and reduced bezel size resemble the Apple Watch Series 7 and Series 8, which feature nearly edge-to-edge displays.
Drawing Inspiration from Apple and Google Watches
Samsung may also take cues from the Google Pixel Watch by incorporating a curved display in the Galaxy Watch 6, according to previous rumors. However, many details about the forthcoming smartwatch remain uncertain. For instance, it is unclear if the design changes will affect the standard Galaxy Watch 6, the anticipated ‘Pro’ model, or both.
More Clarity Expected in the Coming Months
The impact of the rumored design changes on the expected return of the rotating bezel for the Galaxy Watch 6 is also uncertain. With an official announcement not anticipated until August, it may be a few months before these rumors are either confirmed or debunked. In the meantime, stay tuned for the latest updates on Samsung’s upcoming smartwatch.
