God of War Ragnarök Introduces New Game+ Update
Experience Enhanced Gameplay with New Armor, Level Caps, and Enchantments
The acclaimed God of War Ragnarök from Sony receives a notable New Game+ update, extending the life of the popular PS4 and PS5 title. The New Game+ mode, which unlocks after completing the game, allows players to start a new adventure while retaining their equipment, weapons, and skills from the previous save.

New Armor Sets Transform Gameplay Dynamics
This update introduces several innovative armor sets, each with unique gameplay mechanics. The Zeus armor boosts magic and spell damage while making the player more vulnerable to attacks. The Spartan Armor, true to its name, removes all perks and stat enhancements, raising the difficulty level and leaving no room for mistakes.
In contrast, the Armor of the Black Bear and Ares Armor offer exclusive perks, such as improved defense and higher chances of rare item drops. Moreover, players can enjoy new customization options for existing armor types to personalize their appearance.
Level Cap Increases, New Enchantments, and More
With the New Game+ update, both players and enemies have an increased level cap. Level nine equipment, including weapons and shields, can be upgraded to “Plus” versions with additional progression options. Upgrading equipment also awards special coins for purchasing new Enchantments.
New Engravings and Badge powers allow players to apply perks and stats from specific armor sets to amulets, reaping benefits without wearing the armor itself. This system encourages players to experiment and discover the perfect combination for their unique playstyle. Additionally, some adversaries, like Berserker Souls, now drop new stat boost enchantments. Burdens, a new type of enchantment, impose negative perks to increase difficulty.
Enhanced Endgame Bosses, Expanded Sparring Arena, and Cinematic Black-and-White Mode
Endgame bosses receive redesigns, and the sparring arena welcomes new opponents in the New Game+ update. For those seeking a more dramatic experience, a new cinematic black-and-white mode is now available. The complimentary update, focused on New Game+, is available now, making it an ideal time to revisit ancient Scandinavia for more thrilling action.
