ASUS Announces Pricing and Availability for ROG Zephyrus M16 and Duo 16 in India
Following last week’s pre-order launch of the ROG Strix Scar 2023 series and Zephyrus M16 gaming laptops in India, ASUS has revealed the devices’ pricing and availability. The Taiwanese brand introduced the ROG Strix Scar 16 and 18, while also updating the ROG Strix Scar 17, Zephyrus M16, and Zephyrus Duo 16 models. These laptops first appeared at CES earlier this year.
ROG Zephyrus M16 and Duo 16: Key Specifications and Features
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and Duo 16 come with slightly different specifications and features. While the Duo 16 offers dual displays, the M16 is a mainstream laptop. Both models feature a 16-inch MiniLED screen with QHD+ resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, 1100 nits peak brightness, VESA Display HDR, and Dolby Vision support.
The primary distinction between the Zephyrus M16 and Duo 16 is the latter’s 14-inch IPS screen pad with a 4K resolution and 400 nits brightness. This secondary display supports touch and stylus input. Unlike the standard M16, the Duo 16 has its trackpad on the right side. Both laptops include a 1080p webcam with 3DNR, IR technology, and Windows Hello authentication.
Performance and Hardware
The ASUS Zephyrus M16 is powered by up to a 13th gen Intel Core i9 processor and a 16GB Nvidia GeForce RTX4090 GPU. In contrast, the Zephyrus Duo 16 features an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor with either a 16GB RTX4090 or 4080 GPU. Both laptops come with 16GB DDR5 RAM, which can be upgraded to 64GB, and offer up to 2TB of SSD storage. They also feature a MUX Switch for easy GPU switching to optimize performance or battery life.
Audio, Connectivity, and Battery
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and Duo 16 are equipped with a six-speaker system producing 4W sound. They offer a variety of connectivity options and are powered by a 90Wh battery with a 330W adapter.
Pricing and Availability in India
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is priced at INR 2,99,990, while the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 costs INR 4,29,990. These laptops are now available for purchase through the brand’s website, exclusive stores, Amazon, Flipkart, and multi-brand retail stores across India.
